Universal Truths

These past few weeks I’ve been personally dealing with some things. Things like focusing on new income streams left me feeling depleted.

Issues concerning the people I love, brought sadness to my heart as I realized that I was unable to help them out of their financial predicament.

Dealing with past relationship issues, left me with slight feelings of insecurity and unworthiness.

With time ticking by, I’ve been awaking more and more, challenging myself to intentionally begin to live bigger.

As I’ve walked through these human issues we all face these past few weeks, a great light dawned upon me.

That light wasn’t a physical light by any means but it had the ability to shine a true light across these inner issues I’ve been dealing with.

These past few weeks I’ve had to remind myself of my ability to reconnect, realign with the Universal Truths that create this experience of life.

Reuniting with these Universal Truths spiritually, mentally and physically has provided me with the strength needed to get back on my feet and proceed forward into brighter horizons.

I remembered who and what I am.

Forgetfulness of Universal Truths

As this refreshing light revealed itself within, freeing me from the discord I was experiencing I asked myself,

“Why do I so easily forget these Universal Truths that bind my entire existence together?”

After days of contemplation I realized why so many, including myself forget these sacred truths.

I opened my heart, my mind and realized that many of the things I was taught as a child may not be fully correct. I realized that the beliefs passed down to me by those who cared for me were just that, beliefs.

I realized that by allowing the past to take over the present, my mind remained closed, unable to open up to new insights and thoughts.

Finally, I realized that it was 100% my responsibility to live my life in such a way that I honor these Universal Truths each day I am able to rise.

This inner contemplation brought with it 10 Painfully Obvious Universal Truths that too many of us forget.

10 Painfully Obvious Universal Truths

#1 – Life is Within All Things – This idea is the most profound universal truth. The chair you sit on, the computer or phone in front of you, the clothes on your back, the grass you walk on, the sun shining above you, the planet spinning beneath you and all the people, plants and animals upon it contains the same Energy, Life, that dwells within you. Honor Life, in doing so you honor all. The Essence of Life supports you.

#2 – Co-Creation – Embracing and understanding that our experience and the course of our lives is under our control. We each have the ability to direct our thoughts, choose choices and commit to actions. With these three gifts we can see that we are the captains of our soul, masters of our destiny.

#3 – Connection to the Cosmos – All that we are is a product of the whole. Our bodies are composed of the stars. Our planet is the accumulation of elements found throughout the vast universe. This connection to the cosmos strengthens the connection we have to one another. It is all one.

#4 – Connection to Human Family and Beyond – Aside from Life, there is one common theme that runs throughout the entire universe, binding us to one another. That is this present moment. Through this present moment of now, all things are possible. This also means, it’s never too late to create a better existence.

#5 – Our Greatest Gifts Are Within – As humans we were born onto this Earth naked, coming with no materials in our possession. However, the inner possessions we came with are the tools which unlock our greatest dreams, goals and desires. Our greatest gifts are within.

#6 – We Are Always Growing – The struggles, the pain, the frustrations, the anger, the sadness, the suffering can all be used as stepping stones to help us recognize more of who and what we are. Never limit yourself because each day in every way we are expanding. Consciously expand into the greater areas of life.

#7 – We Are More Than Our Bodies – Just as we are more than the vessel we walk this Earth in, we are much more than the materials we’ve accumulated throughout our lives. We are endless Energy, empowered by the Source, connected to the smallest atom in our being and the largest planet floating above us. We are Life.

#8 – Free Will – We have the ability to use our sacred time and energy on whatever we would like. This is how two people with similar upbringings can be experiencing such different realities. One man can live in heaven just as easy as another can live a life in hell.

#9 – Oneness of Humanity – All people are equal. Men, women and children are all equal, empowered by the source of Life. All races, ethnicities, cultures are one. We are apart of the human family, connected to endless brothers and sisters. Love, respect and nurture all.

#10 – The Infinite – It is easy for us to get caught up in our lives with day to day living. But with meditation and inner reflection we are able to see that we are but a piece of the Infinite. We are a small piece to the puzzle of Life. But regardless of how small we may appear to be in the scope of it all, the fullness and power of Life* is within each and every one of us. This makes our potential infinite.
