Best Year of Your Life
Imagine if you finished this year no longer carrying the heavy burdens, struggles and thoughts that captured so much of the beauty this last year.
Imagine if you could catch the good habits, your accomplishments and successes from the past year within and apply these feelings to the days ahead.
What would it be like to finally release what no longer serves you and commit to being your best?
What would change in the next year if you embraced the good things that happen in your life more than the negative?
Could you use this good as fuel to propel you into higher levels of life in the coming days, weeks months and year?
As we end 2014 I want to remind you it’s never too late to make the next 12 months a success spiritually, mentally, physically and financially.
Even if 2014 was less than spectacular, this is the time to capture the good qualities of your life and apply them to the future. Even if the good you capture is few and far in-between, this is your opportunity to grab the steering wheel of life and begin honoring yourself, your gifts and your abilities.
The days ahead become revolutionized and transformed based upon how we act in this moment of now.
Here is the formula to revolutionize the year ahead, inviting in greater peace, abundance, direction and gratitude.
The Key Formula: Focusing On The Good
There’s a Key Formula we can use as we move into the new year. With this Key Formula we’ll unlock greater experiences that await our arrival while strengthening our spiritual foundation within.
This Key Formula is derived from focusing on the good and is as follows:
Key 1 – Great Habits – Look back at the past 12+ months and identify the habits you must continue to cultivate as you grow into the person you’d like to become. Too often we focus on the habits we want to release, and while those are important, let us turn our focus towards the good habits we’ve already created. How can you apply these to your life even more?
Our habits are brought about by our thought patterns, choices and actions. Focus on the habits you want to strengthen while asking yourself, what habits must be developed as I blossom into the person I know I can be?
Once answered, create these habits in your life immediately. As you develop greater habits, the weaker, more negative habits that don’t serve you will subside. What you feed grows.
Key 2 – Greatest Accomplishments – Reflect back in the past 12+ months and identify your greatest accomplishments. Once identified, write down or mentally mark all the things that had to go into helping you produce these accomplishments. Focus upon these and embrace the qualities you had to develop to reach new levels of life.
Instead of reminding yourself about the failures that popped up, draw your attention towards your accomplishments, regardless how small they may be. Doing this you’re able to mentally remind yourself that you have what it takes accomplish incredible things with the tools and gifts you have within.
Let these accomplishments of the past lead you into abundant meadows of success that await.
Key 3 – Areas You’d Like To Grow and Expand In – The last step in the Key Formula is to identify the areas in your life you would like to grow. This is where some honest introspection comes in handy.
These areas of expansion serve as the stepping stones that can take us into higher levels of life. Without growth and expansion on the inside, nothing new can blossom in our outer life.
As we grow and expand, so too does our entire experience.
Embracing this Key Formula and actively applying it to our lives will create new doors of opportunity in the year ahead.
Running Into 2015
I invite you to run full steam ahead into the new year. This is the time for you to go from average to good, from good to great and blossoming from great to exceptional.
We all have the opportunity to do this in the upcoming year.
As one of my favorite authors put it,
“The secret to your success is found in your daily routine.” – John Maxwell (Three Key Tweet)
Create a daily routine of great habits, building upon your great accomplishments while focusing on expanding into greater you.
Commit yourself to this Key Formula and catapult into the best year of your life.
Just for good measure, here are 3 additional Keys.
3 Keys To Make 2015 the Best Year of Your Life
#1 – Inner Game – Be dedicated to becoming the greatest you possible. Master thyself. In this next year spend time embracing the life within while quieting your mind to recognize that you are the source of your thoughts. Create a beautiful world on the inside of you. This is done best by filling your mind with inspiring material, conscious thinking and embracing your connection to Life.
#2 – Clear Sight – Going into this year and beyond, move with a clear vision in your minds eye. If you know the direction you’d like to take your life then begin to see the necessary steps you have to take today to get to that place. This is done best by having clear, specific and measurable goals that can act as road-markers as the year progresses.
Spend sometime with yourself and get clear as to where you’d like to take your life. Once you do this move that vision from the mental realm into the physical realm through your choices and actions.
#3 – Strong Connections – Strengthen the relationships that mean the most to you. Take time each day to reach out to someone you love, care for, or appreciate. Honor your relationships. Business-wise, find like-minded individuals who believe in you and your gifts. Find ways that you can be of greater service for others.
Finally, seek new relationships that align with the vision you have for yourself and the year ahead. We become the average of the 5 people we spend the most time with.
Be around those individuals you’d like to become.
Finish this year on a high vibration.
Do the right things today and awake with inspiration tomorrow.
Honor yourself by sharing your gifts and unique abilities with the world.
Respect others and the planet your upon.
Embrace the Key Formula and make 2015 the best year of your life.
