3 Key Takeaways From the Kindness Challenge

Highlights of the Kindness Challenge

After 7 days of consciously practicing random acts of kindness, I’d like to share what I’ve discovered.

Some of these things you may already know, others may be new.

I ask you to try this 7 Day Kindness Challenge for yourself and uncover the great power behind true, genuine kindness.

Genuine Kindness

It is kindness and compassion,

empowering interactions,

peace-filled thoughts, joy-filled actions.

It is words of encouragement,

choices of goodness,

it is moving in alignment with one’s true purpose.

Examine the inner by reflecting the outer,

our inner most intentions, is truly what matters,

see the unity around us, see the power you have,

recognize this world which we live is from the mind of a man,

that mind is Yours,

that mind is Mine,

that mind is a gift from Life,

the Divine.

For through it comes all,

the good and the bad,

so stop for a moment

and again see the power that you have.

3 Key Takeaways

These last 7 days have truly reminded me how imperative it is to be a beneficial presence on this planet.

A few takeaways I’d like to highlight that I believe we could all embrace is:

#1 – Begin with You – In order to do anything we must start within. Creating peace within, cultivating kindness within and embracing the gift of Life within ourselves is something that we can only do for ourselves. Our inner world creates our outer world.

#2 – Consciously Recognize the Importance of Your Actions – Each action we do, whether big or small plays a role in the life of another. Some are very minute, others very substantial. Remember, you may not change the world by yourself but you definitely can change someone’s world through your choices and actions.

#3 – Live Better, Sleep Better – This third quality is the one that I’ll always remember. Each act of kindness that you do is not only empowering but seems to make the day shine a little brighter. Some of the days, if I was feeling down for some reason, the acts of kindness were like a natural pick me up. The random acts of kindness improved my attitude, outlook and ultimately the day. When you go to sleep at night reflecting on the kindness that you showed towards another, knowing that the acts empowered two people you sleep better as well.

Kindness is a natural medicine that influences everyone who partakes.
